It prowled the Miocene forests, stalking its prey both on the ground and in the trees. Like other marsupial lions, its teeth were perfectly suited to its predatory lifestyle, with long front teeth for stabbing its prey, as well as sharp, blade-like cheek teeth for slicing through flesh.
