--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of the many species of thylacine that once lived in Australia, the Powerful Thylacine was the largest. About the size of a wolf, it was very strongly built, with huge jaws that could crush bone. Closely related to the famous Tasmanian Thylacine, the Powerful Thylacine hunted in the forests that once covered central Australia, probably preying mostly on other marsupials.
