	#13 -Name: EURYZYGOMA -Scientific name: Euryzygoma dunense -Period: Pliocene (5-2 million years ago) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Euryzygoma was a cow-sized, plant-eating marsupial that lived in the swampy forests of Queensland. It was a browsing animal, feeding on the leaves of bushes and small trees. Euryzygoma probably lived in herds for protection from the many ferocious predators which prowled these ancient forests, such as the Bluff Downs Giant Python and the fierce land-living crocodile Quinkana.
