The Common Propleopus was a large kangaroo related to the Riversleigh Killer Kangaroo. It probably ate the flesh of other animals, as well as some leaves and other vegetation. Its mouth contained powerful stabbing teeth, as well as buzz-saw shaped premolars perfectly suited for cutting through meat. The Common Propleopus weighed up to 70kg - as heavy as a modern Red Kangaroo.
