The Bogota Sunangel was a hummingbird found in Colombia in South America. Like other hummingbirds, it fed on flower nectar. The Bogota Sunangel was only ever known from one specimen, collected in 1909. What led to its extinction is not known, but habitat loss is the most likely cause.
