Homage to "Jacland Fallone"

Even after having grown with dogs, nothing enabled me to foresee what was going to occur one autumn evening when I decided to accompany my mother to a conformation practice. Since I was very young, I always lived with American cocker spaniels. My mother tried to interest me in cockers in one way or another but without much success.
Rolland Bates, which gave the handling practice at our Club asked me to hold one of his bitches and to finally say to me to try to practise her with the other handlers. I started like that, by mere chance and I let myself be taken by this passion of handling German shepherds. I acknowledge that I tried showing/handling other breeds but now my thoughts are only for the German shepherds.
Fallone and Rolland Bates
These breeders, Rolland and Jacqueline Bates of " Jacland " made me a gift of a beautiful sable one year old bitch. I started to learn handling with her, and her name was " Jacland Fallone ".
I took along Fallone to some canine competitions without much success. It should be said that it was my very first experiments in showing and that I was competing against several more experienced people.
Fate wanted that Fallone remains only a few months with me... time to make me discover a firm passion. Fallone made me and my family discover this German shepherd; a proud, solid, faithful breed and... which loves the cocker spaniels!
Following the dramatic loss of Fallone, I decided to seek another German shepherd. Fallone opened horizons to me that nobody suspects... me I know.
A special Thank You to Rolland and Jacqueline for all your friendship and all your advises. And you Fallone... my beautiful, never I will not forget you.
